Vietnam

Vietnam is one of the fastest developing countries in Southeast Asia and it’s quite popular among backpackers due to being a very cheap destination. If you are seeking history, culture, adventure, tasty food, and natural beauty, then Vietnam is an excellent choice for you.

Vietnam is a big country and there are lots of things to do. Travelers usually choose to go from north to south when they visit Vietnam but you can easily reverse this itinerary. While exploring Vietnam by motorbike is a popular option, you can also reach any location by bus.

In the north of Vietnam, you can get nostalgic in the colonial architecture of Hanoi, admire beautiful rice terraces in Sapa, and cruise around the magical limestone rocks of Halong Bay.

Bordering China, the Ha Giang motorbike loop in Vietnam offers epic adventures filled with stunning views and landscapes. You’ll see a very different side of the country and explore hill tribe villages off the beaten path.

Heading to Central Vietnam, Hue deserves a pit-stop for ancient history. Just nearby, Danang is perfect to see a modern Asian Metropol and chill out at sandy beaches.

Hoi An is the most famous place to visit in Vietnam and it’s easy to see why. The architecture of this historic town is absolutely gorgeous, the locals are so welcoming, and the food is amazing.

Coming to the south, you can find more beach options in Nha Trang and Mui Ne. You should visit locals’ favorite destination Dalat and wander around in Ho Chi Minh City.

Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is less traditional and more chaotic than Hanoi but Vietnamese cuisine is still at its best.

Vietnam is a special place and once you experience the Vietnamese hospitality and the unique atmosphere, it will be hard to leave.
