Everybody knows something about the United States, even without visiting it. Many people only come to see a few cities but this country offers more than just sightseeing the Statue of Liberty in NYC or the Hollywood sign in LA.
There are 50 states in America and each of them comes with different attractions. You can go trekking in the tropical jungles of Hawaii, try surfing in California, discover the untouched nature of Alaska, visit the ghost towns in Montana or ski in Vermont.
The country’s landscape is super diverse and there are many national parks to see. Starting with the breathtaking Grand Canyon, other parks such as Yosemite, Death Valley, and Yellowstone are definitely worth a visit.
The easiest way to explore the country is to rent a car and drive everywhere. Because the public transportation isn’t too efficient outside of the city areas.
Luckily, the US is one of the best countries to go on a road trip. Some of the best routes include Pacific Coast Highway, historic Route 66, Florida Keys Highway 1, and Arizona-Utah-Nevada triangle. They all are quite scenic.
On the east coast, visiting New York City is a must. Chill out at Central Park, watch a Broadway show, and see the night view of the city from the Empire State Building. This city is truly amazing and deserves its reputation.
It’s safe to say, you will never run out of things to do in the US. You can take a boat ride to Alcatraz Island in San Francisco. See the crazy nightlife in Miami. Try the deep-dish pizza in Chicago. Visit the free museums and galleries in Washington DC.
Or, have fun gambling in Las Vegas. Enjoy some jazz music in New Orleans. Admire the charming architecture in Savannah. You will experience different cultures and activities in each city.
