Vava’u and Ha’apai are two amazing islands in Tonga for swimming with humpback whales. The whale season in Tonga is between June and November. Other attractions include scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, and kitesurfing.
Tonga may be located off the radar and not easy to get to, but it offers some of the best humpback whale watching opportunities in the world. Plus, it is considered to be cheaper than the other Polynesian countries. You will find pure nature and authenticity instead of luxurious resorts and have a great time here.
