You will find the best beaches in Costa del Sol for a relaxing holiday. While Malaga is a popular place to stay, you can explore much better towns down the coast. On the east coast, go to Valencia, which is a famous city for its paella.

If you happen to be traveling around Valencia at the end of August, join the famous festival La Tomatina in nearby town Buñol, where thousands of people throw tomatoes at each other.

Make sure to check out the Balearic Islands in Spain. They are possibly the most beautiful islands in Europe. Whether you go to Mallorca, Menorca, Formentera, or Ibiza, you’ll have it all from picture-perfect beaches to crazy nightlife.
