Nepal

From a trek in the Himalayas to cultural experiences, traveling to Nepal is a rewarding experience in many aspects. Whether you visit Nepal for adventure or spiritual awakening, you’d be surprised by its diversity as there are so many things to do there.

Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is not like any other city in the world. The city may be hectic and difficult to get used to but at the same time, it is quite addicting. The best thing to do in Kathmandu is visiting religious sites such as Durbar Square, Swayhambhunath Stupa, and Boudha Stupa.

Not far from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur deserves a visit too for its Durbar Square where the entire area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If you want to see the wildlife in Nepal, you should make your way to Chitwan National Park. It is home to elephants, rhinos, tigers, leopards, birds, and many other animals. The park is easily reachable by bus from Kathmandu.

Pokhara is the most scenic city in Nepal without a doubt. Even though it is a big city, it has the perfect atmosphere for relaxing thanks to Phewa Lake and surrounding mountains. Pokhara is also the getaway point to the Himalayas.

Many people travel to Nepal for the Himalayas. While a trek to Everest Base Camp is an attractive option to see the highest mountain on earth, it is also the busiest route and not as scenic as it is expected.

On the other hand, the Annapurna region offers one of the best trekking in the country. If you have enough time, make sure to add Annapurna Circuit to your Nepal itinerary because the countryside and mountains cannot get more picturesque than here. A little less popular trekking option, the Langtang Region is also incredible for hiking.
