Japan

A unique place beyond your imagination where ancient culture meets the futuristic modern world, Japan is a stunning destination for many reasons. There is no doubt you will be mind-blown the second you arrive in Japan and happily get lost in it.

Rich in historic culture, Japan offers countless things to do for everyone, from beautiful zen gardens to enchanting bamboo forests, hidden hot springs (onsen) to magical cherry blossoms, gorgeous temples and shrines to spiritual tea ceremonies, crazy themed cafes to popular video game arcades, you’ll never run out of attractions in Japan. Not to mention its mouth-watering food.

Since there are a lot of places to go, it’s better to plan your Japan itinerary in advance to make the best of it. You can wander around the lively, neon streets of Tokyo, admire the picturesque scenery of the Japanese Alps, join the karaoke madness in Kanazawa, dive into the Japanese culture in Kyoto, hang out with friendly locals in Osaka, or travel back in time in Hiroshima. The options are endless!

For the authentic experience, you should spend one night in a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) and see the Japanese lifestyle and hospitality firsthand. You can also go off the beaten path and discover Shikoku Island as an alternative, visit Tokushima, see the Awa Odori traditional dance, and explore Iya Valley and its lush mountains.

Keep in mind that a trip to Japan isn’t complete without riding the famous shinkansen (bullet train). You’ll witness the most punctual transportation system in the world, it really is too good to be true.

And last but not least, trying every traditional food in Japan is a must. Japanese cuisine has one of the best dishes in the world. Safe to say, it will be an unforgettable culinary experience and a trip of a lifetime.
