Start exploring Jamaica by relaxing at its gorgeous beaches. Seven Mile Beach is simply perfect with its white powder sand and turquoise water. You can do water sports and enjoy snorkeling here. Just nearby, Negril Cliffs are perfect for cliff jumping. Doctor’s Cave Beach at Montego Bay is another popular beach in Jamaica that is worth checking out.
Discover Jamaica’s one of the many waterfalls, including Dunn’s River Falls, Island Gully Falls, YS Falls, Reach Falls, and Mayfield Falls. You can jump off cliffs and have a refreshing swim break in the pools.
One of the most popular things to do in Jamaica is bamboo rafting. This is a great way to see Jamaica’s nature from a deeper perspective. Martha Brae and the Rio Grande are two rivers to go rafting.
Holywell National Park and Blue Mountains National Park are the best places to go trekking in Jamaica. The forests are incredibly lush, the wildlife is impressive, and the scenery is breathtaking. A hike up to Blue Mountain Peak will definitely become the highlight of your trip.
Port Antonio is a relaxed, charming town that is worth checking out. You can do many day trips from Port Antonio to surrounding waterfalls and beaches. If you are interested in Georgian architecture, Greenwood Great House at Falmouth is the place for it.
The capital of Jamaica, Kingston, is quite busy but it deserves to be explored. Don’t miss visiting the Devon House, National Gallery, and Bob Marley Museum here. Enjoy some live reggae music at clubs, relax at Emancipation Park, and shop at Coronation Market.
