Famously known for its canals, gondola ride, and romantic atmosphere, Venice is another magical place to go. While it’s an expensive and overcrowded destination, it’s still worth a visit.

From renaissance architecture and art to the best gelato in the country, visiting Florence comes as the third best destination in Italy. You can also make here a base and have day trips to Bologna, Pisa, Siena, Lucca, and many beautiful villages in Tuscany.

The Cinque Terre is the most picturesque part of Italy and it consists of five gorgeous towns. Each town is heavenly beautiful, especially during summertime. You can go hiking, swimming, and wine tasting in this area and take an Italian cooking class.

Heading to the south, go to Naples and eat the most delicious pizzas until you don’t have any space left. Visit nearby city Pompeii to see the ancient Roman ruins and continue to the Amalfi Coast. It is another breathtaking part of the country with its hillside towns and beaches.
