There is no doubt the Pyramids of Giza is one most the most iconic landmarks in the world. Take a day trip from Cairo to visit Alexandria on the Mediterranean Sea.

Head down the town of Luxor by the Nile and see the Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, and the Memorial Temple of Hatshepsut. You will find another stunning temple at Abu Simbel, located way down the Nile River.
Take a cruise on the Nile between Aswan and Luxor and enjoy the chill-out atmosphere. If you want to take a break from temples, go to Sharm El-Sheikh for some relaxation on the beach.
