Filled with picture-perfect landscapes, Canada is a massive country in North America and you can easily spend months traveling here. A road trip is a great way to explore this country to see the villages in the countryside and go off the beaten path.
Nature is the main reason people visit Canada because the outdoors are gorgeous, including huge mountains, icy tundras, magical lakes, and forests. There is no surprise Canadian landscapes are Instagram famous.
Banff National Park is the perfect place to see some of the most stunning pieces of nature. It is super famous thanks to its turquoise lakes, picturesque mountains, and beautiful village.
You can go cycling, canoeing, skiing, hiking, camping, kayaking, and do many more activities in the area. Or, you can just drive around and enjoy the scenic views.
If you find Banff too overcrowded for your ski trip, there are many other ski resorts in Canada, such as Whistler Blackcomb, Lake Louise, Mont Tremblant, and Sunshine Village.
While Canadian cities offer a mix of culture with their food, music, and art scene, each city is special in its own way. You can visit French-speaking Montreal, see Niagara falls in Toronto, pretend to be a cowboy in Calgary, walk the entire city of Ottawa, and enjoy nature as a part of the urban lifestyle in Vancouver.
If you make it all the way to the west, visiting Vancouver Island is a must, as there are so many amazing things to do there. You should hike the Pacific Rim National Park, try delicious seafood, hang out at a beach, watch the whales, and explore Victoria and Tofino.
Another cool thing about Canada is that you can see the polar bears in their natural habitat and watch the northern lights. You can do both attractions in Churchill Manitoba or Yukon.
