With its vibrant culture, diverse nature, cosmopolitan cities, and colorful lifestyle, Brazil is a magnificent country to visit. You need at least two weeks to explore the main highlights since it is the largest country in South America that covers half of the continent.

It is nearly impossible to summarize all the things to do and places to see in Brazil. Rio de Janeiro should be on the top of everyone’s list who is traveling to this country. If you are visiting Brazil in February, you cannot miss the epic Rio Carnival.

Hang out at Ipanema and Copacabana Beach, see the Christ the Redeemer, go to Sugarloaf Mountain, hike the Tijuca National Park, learn the samba, party with locals, and drink caipirinha which is Brazil’s signature cocktail. It never gets boring in Rio.

Visiting the Iguaçu Falls is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Brazil. The gorgeous waterfalls are located on the border with Argentina. Make sure to see the falls from two different sides, as they both have amazing views.

Visit the museums and enjoy the nightlife in Sao Paulo. Spend time on Ilha Grande’s beautiful nature. Get deeper into the Brazilian culture in Salvador. Discover the Fernando de Noronha and its picturesque views.

Relax at the stunning white sand beaches of Jericoacoara. This magical paradise is also one of the safest places in Brazil. Go to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park and explore its impressive sand dunes and rainwater lagoons.

Head to the Amazon rainforest in the northwest of Brazil if you got more time. Rich in biodiversity, it’s the world’s largest tropical rainforest. You can cruise the jungle and river or join a guided trek trip and see the wildlife. The city of Manaus is a great starting point for your Amazon adventure.
