Bali

Bali is not only Indonesia’s top destination, but it’s also one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world. It’s a stunningly beautiful place full of majestic volcanoes, secret waterfalls, ancient temples, magical jungles, and beautiful beaches. The island’s unique atmosphere comes from Balinese Hinduism and it creates spiritual energy that makes you want to come back.

Bali is a big island and there are so many things to do and see. From surfing the world-class waves to diving underwater wonders, climbing volcanoes to practicing yoga, you should at least have a week for your Bali itinerary.

You can master your surfing skills in Uluwatu, sip a cocktail at sunset in Seminyak, lose yourself to the amazing nightlife of hipster Canggu, enjoy the water sports in the family-oriented resort town of Sanur, go scuba diving in a quiet fishing village of Amed or even visit the beautiful Nusa Islands as a day trip.

Ubud is the spiritual heart of Bali and it is the perfect place for finding inner peace and exploring Balinese culture. The majority of yoga studios and meditation centers are located in Ubud. It also has a ton of mystic temples, art galleries, and stunning landscapes like the Tegallalang Rice Terraces.

Bali may be the victim of mass tourism but it still maintains its natural beauty and charm outside of certain areas. If you feel overwhelmed by the traffic jams or popular Instagram locations, all you have to do is to visit more remote towns or villages. It will be much cheaper and quieter and absolutely beautiful.

There is no surprise Bali is every traveler’s paradise because it has something for everyone! Whether you visit Bali for a honeymoon, backpacking trip, or family vacation, you’ll have an epic journey filled with lots of fun, adventure, and relaxation.
